Originally when I had this, it was served with apples. Somewhere I have a picture. So good and fluffy.

These pancakes are ginormous. You get 3 huge pancakes for $5. I recommend doing the Pick 2 for $10 and get any 2 items.





My second recommendation are the seared scallops with smoked ham, potato and hollandaise...8.50.




Get the hollandaise sauce on the side or omitted completely. Does nothing but make it all soggy.







That along with the awesome coffee served from MadCap Coffee...2, makes one awesome breakfast.

Yes, these really are as ginormous as they look in the picture. I'm assuming it was a standard 10" plate. Double stack of Ginormous Fluffiness...sounds like a better title to me.

Guest Blogger, Mom, got Fresh Buttermilk Pancakes with strawberries double stack $3.49 + $.79 for the strawberry topping. Oh, and we had to ask for the whipped topping but well worth it.

The pancakes are nice and fluffy but they should use more butter on the grill and crisp them up on the edges. However, this is definitely a great joint for breakfast or anytime. We had pancakes for lunch!

The pancake stack is a little under 1/2 an inch high and are just below 3/4 of an inch in diameter.

These scented waffle earrings with mouth-watering maple, golden maple syrup and a slab of butter are handmade from polymer clay. These earrings are scented to smell like maple syrup, a sinfully sweet and rich scent that I always recommend to people.

The slight browned tint on the waffles really add to the waffle details and the I made sure that the maple syrup looked good enough to make you want to lick it.

Almond Joy's Got Nuts...Mounds Don't

I was so inspired by the Almond Joy pancakes, I thought I'd try my own of mini chocolate chips and shredded coconut. I didn't have almonds on hand so I thought I'd make mine a Mounds version.

1/3 cup of pancake mix
1/4 water
2 Tbs mini chocolate chips
2 Tbs shredded coconut

One giant pancake. Tastes great!

About this time of year all I can think about is snowboarding. With every good boarding trip comes is the obligatory stop at a diner, where I get a full stack of pancakes with plenty of real maple syrup. Here we have the second in our Ice Cream for Breakfast line, The Full Stack. It’s maple ice cream, with chunks of homemade spiced-walnut pancakes.

I say this is a "must try"!

Chocolate chips, shaved coconut and slivered almonds. And OMG...it tastes like a candy bar baked in the pancake. If you like sweet, get a short stack, which is 2 pancakes as big as the plate. If you can only handle so much sweet, get 1 and share it. It is definitely a must try pancake!

Two, small, light creamy pancakes made with ricotta cheese and lemon topped with vanilla cream and organize maple syrup $4

To say these pancakes are small is an understatement. Even with the description of "small", these are more like crepes than pancakes. These were very thin on top of being small. Not every portion needs to be big but the diameter was about 5" and crepe thin. In my opinion, not worth the $4 until they learn to use self rising flour. Check out the brunch menu and pick something else.

I've tried all the toppings. The blackberry was the best, however, I would suggest getting the fruit topping on the side. It soaks into the pancakes quickly and gets super soggy.

Yeah, I know it's a chain restaurant but it is still good. So far the best Cracker Barrel pancakes have been at the Cracker Barrel in Brighton, MI. Nice and crispy. Good sign of butter being present. I can feel my arteries clogging as I write...
